Level 3 Paediatric First Aid (QCF)

Course Duration Two days

This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 years or over.

This course has been developed for those who are working with children and infants. It will be of particular interest to parents, teachers, child minders, crèche assistants, playgroup personnel and anyone else who has a responsibility for children and infants welfare. More importantly, you will be gaining knowledge and competence to administer first aid and basic life support – an extremely valuable skill to have – for you, your employer as well as friends and family

It is ideal for individuals who are responsible for children and infants, who wish to gain a nationally accredited Level 3 Award. This course satisfies the guidelines and criteria as laid down by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and OFSTED.

This qualification has 2 Units:

Emergency Paediatric First Aid
Managing Paediatric Illness, Injuries and Emergencies

The qualification is assessed by a multiple choice examination and an ongoing practical assessment.
