QNUK Level 2 Award in Essential First Aid

Course Outline

The purpose and objective of this qualification is to allow learners, who may be unable to meet the HSE requirements for competently providing first aid, an opportunity to demonstrate emergency first aid knowledge and skills. Skills may be demonstrated by learner providing clear instructions, including feedback to a bystander. This qualification can be taken as an alternative to Emergency First Aid at Work, where learners cannot be relied upon to be a sole first aider but are still able to provide first aid by proxy.
