QNUK Level 3 Award for Deliverers of Physical Intervention Training for Close Protection Operatives (RQF)

Course Outline

This qualification has been developed by QNUK to enable trainers who hold the necessary teaching, conflict management and assessing qualifications alongside the occupational experience and competence to be able to deliver the Level 2 physical intervention training to learners as a component part of their learning towards the QNUK Level 3 Certificate for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security Industry. Trainer approval to deliver this is subject to: 1. Holding the Level 3 Award for Deliverers of Physical Intervention Training for Close Protection Operatives (RQF) qualification (this qualification), and, 2. An annual licence to deliver a prescribed programme (or model) issued from one of the SIA endorsed physical intervention models.

The physical intervention skills unit has been developed and is part of the shared assets between the SIA and their endorsed Awarding Organisations.
