QNUK Level 3 Award for Deliverers of Physical Intervention Training in the Private Security Industry (RQF)

Course Outline

This qualification has been developed by QNUK to enable trainers who hold the necessary teaching, conflict management and assessing qualifications alongside the occupational experience and competence to be able to deliver the Level 2 physical intervention training to learners as a component part of their learning towards the QNUK Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry (RQF) qualification. Trainer approval to deliver this unit is subject to: 1. Holding the Level 3 Deliverers of Physical Intervention Training in the Private Security Industry (RQF) qualification, and, 2. An annual licence to deliver a prescribed programme (or model) issued from one of the SIA endorsed physical intervention models.

The physical intervention skills unit has been developed and is part of the shared assets between the SIA and their endorsed Awarding Organisations.
